About
The walled old town of Khiva is an open-air museum and Uzbekistan's first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within its mighty adobe walls stand more than 50 monuments: the turquoise-tiled Kalta Minor minaret, the Kunya-Ark citadel, the Tash-Hauli palace, and 18th–19th century madrasahs and mosques. A single ticket covers the fortress museums.
